Responsibilties
- Establish new business and nurture prospects
- Use prospecting strategies to lead initial outreach to prospects
- Identify the needs and challenges of the prospective customer
- Master and deliver the Sprocket value proposition and differentiation points
- Determine the prospect's interest in Sprocket Security’s offerings
- Schedule discovery meetings for sales representatives and prospects
- Manage CRM and sales tools
- Assist with nurturing sales pipeline at all stages (communication, scoping, quoting, etc)
- Work with marketing on email campaigns, blog/website content, etc
- Participate and be active in the cybersecurity community and attend events
Qualifications
Minimum:
- Self-starter who has a desire to learn, grow and excel in their role
- Interest in Cyber Security
- Extensive knowledge of sales strategies and building processes that support revenue growth
- 1+ years of sales-related experience – outbound-focused sales or other customer-oriented backgrounds
- At least one year of professional experience
- Four year degree from accredited instuition
- Knowledge of SDR sales tools
- Ability to understand technical IT jargon and guide customers to the appropriate solution
- Hunter mentality, working at a growing company means working in fast paced environment and
contributing to all stages of the funnel - Clear and concise verbal and written skills
- United States resident and pass background check
Preferred:
- Experience in cybersecurity software and services – major advantage
- Entrepreneurial mindset - hunter before farmer
- Experience contributing to business growth and working closely with leadership teams
- Active in the infosec community and strives to help others (whats your LinkedIn look like!)
