We are seeking a highly motivated Marketing Specialist to join our team at Sprocket Security. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating and executing field marketing programs, social media campaigns, and communication strategies that drive results for our cutting-edge cybersecurity platform. This person will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing plan that encompasses both traditional and digital channels, including events, email, social media, and advertising.
Responsibilties
- Develop and execute field marketing programs that increase brand awareness and drive lead generation for our expert-driven continuous validation platform
- Create and execute social media campaigns that engage our target audience and increase followers for our platform
- Manage communication strategies that keep customers, partners, and employees informed and engaged about our platform
- Develop and execute advertising campaigns that increase brand visibility and drive traffic to our website
- Develop and execute email marketing campaigns and newsletters to engage with our prospects
- Make changes to our website CMS for new pages and updates
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency in messaging and brand guidelines for our platform
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing programs and adjust strategies as needed to meet business goals for our platform
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure our marketing programs remain innovative and effective for our platform
Qualifications
Minimum:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on field marketing, social media, communication, and advertising
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with Salesforce and marketing automation platforms
- Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to drive decision-making
Preferred:
- Experience executing advertising campaigns on LinkedIn, Google Ads, & others.
- Graphic Design experience, preferably using “Figma”
- Experience contributing to business growth and working closely with leadership teams
- Entrepreneurial experience
- Experience in cybersecurity software and services – major advantage
- Active in the infosec community and strives to help others (whats your LinkedIn look like?!)
